2022 NATIONAL CONFERENCE/AGM

The APWEN National Conference is an annual conference organized by the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria. It is the largest gathering of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria. The Conference has held annually since inception and focuses on encouraging females to take up Engineering as a profession, collecting and encouraging the dissemination of technical knowledge and technologies especially amongst females. The insightful sessions are exceptionally professional and is a personal development tool for both working engineers and collegiates.

Over the years, APWEN Conference has grown to become the largest all-inclusive interactive event for Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria, attracting various captains of industry, Regulators, Government officials, Engineering professionals and other key stakeholders.

APWEN will be hosting her 2022 edition of the Conference and Exhibition from the 19th to 22nd September 2022, at the Millie Hall, Sandralia Hotel Jabi, Abuja. The theme of the 2022 Conference is “Just Energy Transition; An Enabler for Sustainable Development in Nigeria”

 

The Conference  features other sub-events such as Panel Session, Technical Paper presentations, Young Engineers Program such as the Town and Gown Event, Collegiate Programs, Tradofunk Party and Dinners & Awards night etc.
